ALBACETE’S FAIR (07/09 AL 17/09)
La Feria de Albacete, declared of international tourist interest, will be held from 7 to 17 September in the city of La Mancha Albacete in honor of the Virgin of Los Llanos. It takes place in and around the permanent exhibition center popularly as the pan or roundels, Artístico3 Historical monument located in the city center known.
Events
Feria Parade opening (September 7): The first and most important event of the fair. Its mission is to transfer the image of the Virgin of Los Llanos to the Fair, culminating with the opening of the front door (Iron Gate) enclosure. This opening night held since 1909. Until this year, the opening was morning.
In the parade marches on the order of a hundred floats accompanied by brass bands, by Mancha dressed in traditional costume (Manchego, of serrana or gleaner), for numerous clubs and bands who play the most popular topics on the music scene parties. ALBACETE’S EASTER WEEK
The Easter Albacete is declared of Regional Tourist Interest since October 1997. The processions take place daily, from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, starting from different parishes of the capital. Curiously, in the processions that take place in the capital, the Nazarenes carry candy beneath the robes, which are spreading along the route of the processions. The Cristo of Medinaceli
The Adoration of the Christ of Medinaceli takes place in the Parish of Franciscans first Friday of every month, but only remains accessible throughout the day, the first Friday of March. Restoration Mancha
Albacete's cuisine is characterized by being rich in meat (sheep, pigs, poultry, game) in fish (trout, pike, carp), vegetables and legumes and a great variety of fruits. TORRECICA’S CIRCUIT
